Thank you so much for watching! Check out the blog for references! e3rehab.com/blog/acl-rehab/
For someone who is finding it very difficult to find a good physiotherapist this video is amazing. I have enough knowledge on the exercises that needs to be done but didn't have a template to plan my week. Your video is super helpful. Thank you E3 rehab. Can't wait to get back stronger
I wish all modern physicians were this in-depth with protocols. I’m 8 weeks post meniscus surgery and once my PT saw that I could walk somewhat normally at 6 weeks I was released. Granted ima a S&C coach, but I need guidance like regular people as well. I appreciate the stuff you guys put out 💯
This is probably the best video I watched during my acl rehab. The most struggling thing I recognized is the planing and integration of different focuses - the periodization of strengthening and running in the mid stage. My question is how does a typical week of training for an amateur athlete look like considering strengthening, plyometrics and running to prepare for the late stage?
This video single-handedly cured my anxiety. The PT I had was good but not great and I found myself stalling out. I was worried I was never going to get back into sport shape but this video has given me direction and motivation.
Hey super interesting video ! Just one question about return to running : low intensity slow footing is way more demanding than landing eccentric or 1.25* bodyweight single leg press (some people couldn't do it even before surgery but they could easily perform 10min footing), same for 22 rep single leg sitting single squat. What do you think about it ?
Great video. Clear, concise and to the point. No jargon or BS exercises. This is precisely how i have progressed my own clients and their ACL rehab.
So much work behind this 30 minutes video I can't thank you enough for sharing with us. Peace man!
Thank you for the video, this will be very useful during my post-surgery ACL rehabilitation in combination with the program from my physio. It also benefited me to stop comparing my progress to others and to research iatrogenic nerve inhibition, since the nerves also represent a component in the healing process. I am trying to be patient before returning to alpinism, ski touring, wakeboarding, running, climbing ... Maybe this time even better since I will never stop strengthening my knees again. Really, thank you guys for everything. As a medical student and sports enthusiast, I admire your dedication to every video and all of the evidence behind them! Keep up the good work :)
As someone who is learning to become a physiotherapist, this is awesome. To be able to receive such information, I am grateful.
I'm trying to settle it without surgery, thank you for this most needed video🙏
I'm about to start going down that same route. How's your going and do you have any advice for me?
I had my acl and minescus surgery today. Looking forward to this video in my journey to recovery. Thank you E3 for this wonderful informative content, I will surely discuss few of the points from here with my surgeon and physio in weeks to come ❤ and ❤️🩹
had my surgery almost 2 years ago and this video made me realize I need to train some more 😅. Great video btw!
Just had a surgical ACL repair on 7/12 with PT upcoming. I'm 5 days post op and started gently incorporating your flexion and extension ROM videos into my days as I spend a lot of time sitting around in my brace. I stumbled on this video and love its simplicity and completeness. My degree is in Athletic Training and I wish I had your videos as adjunct learning in school. It's going to be a nice supplement to use with my PT going forward, thank you for putting your ACL series together.
How’re you coming along? I’m about to get acl repair soon
Wow, watching them grow every week until they grew by two cups is definitely satisfying, I went with what I commented about and after the first 20 days or so I went up by one cup! I simply go'ogled the latest by Mika Klopsworth and now they’re fuller and firmer than I expected!
Excellent video as always. You guys are the best 🙏🏻
Simply amazing guys!!! Thank you so much for creating such a comprehensive video!!
Best video ever of rehab . Very accurate and spefific . You are great 🙌
Hi I have had an Osteotomy 3 weeks ago on my knee , I was told to do the early exercises you have shownHow ever the whole video feels like it would benifit me .Can these exercises aid most type of knee alignment surgery or do these only have an ACL focus.
This is such a great video. I wish there was a video of all level 1 progressions together so you don’t have to rewind or forward the videoLevel 2 all togetherLevel 3 all togetherEtc Very useful detailed explanations as well. Everyone just wants to come back. Best to come back the right way.
My personal notes. this video is great im 12 months post acl surgery and it still helping
How do you know how much hold it takes for the isometric exercises? Is there any evidence about it? Thanks
Great Job! You put a lot of work into that Video!
As usual excelente, muchas gracias y felicitaciones
I have a question. I had my surgery about 2 summers ago but haven’t really finished the mid-stage part of my recovery…work and school really did get in the way of that. I am just now starting to get into training and strengthening my leg. Is it terrible that I am 2 yrs after surgery but have not exited the mid-stage recovery?? Is it too late for me?
How do you recommend measuring quadriceps strength in primary care? Sports facitilites will often have more accurate equipment and tools.
Excellent video, well done!
I'm on 11 months post op and knee still hurts. I've been doing 2 times a day rehab 7 days a week. Should I decrease the days? I feel like I should be running now but the pain is there.
I'm not sure what your rehab consists of, but 2 times per day, 7 days per week sounds like you might be doing too much.
Thank you so much for making this type of video. It is a very useful for everyone. How can I contact you if I learn from you guys. Please guide me.
Great video Thank you so much 🙏🏽❤️
Isn't muscle soreness to be avoided at least in the very early stage because of lactic acid diminishing the integration and healing of the replaced ligament?
Can I use these same techniques if I’m dealing with a bruise knee bone and patella tendinitis?
It’s a lot better to make these exercises with weights that force The knee joints too open a bit instead of being pushed to each other.
Have you ever thought about doing a video on PT after an ORIF surgery? Or is the rehab for that not that unique?
Depends on the region, but the rehab likely wouldn't be that unique.
Thank you for this excellent video!
Wow what a great video! I will refer back to it often. Thank you
I hope u can make another rehab video for PCL,MCL,and,LCL
Hello, 2 years ago I think I had a parcial rupture on my biceps, not so much pain but days after the incident I’ve got one hematoma, and till the day of today, With my palms facing downwards, I can't do pull-ups without a very sharp pain, or even do a little bit of power with that arm. Any recommendations ? I’ve checked the video from the biceps rupture but mine wasn’t like that.. but for real I cannot do nothing with pain I don’t know what more else to do, please if one day can you make one video, would be amazing and so helpful. Thanks and keep going with this super content.
Can I start doing some of these exercises without an ACL reconstruction (full tear, no ACL)?
Helpful vedio...Sir I undergo ACL reconstruction before 1 month, Now 120 degree knee bending. which level i should follow in your worthy vedio. pls reply... Gautam from Dehradun India .

Muy bueno !!! 🙏👍
30 mins video!!! Great work.
Great video! New subscriber as of today. Thanks!
i really just sprained my acl right before my first football game in practice when someone was not paying attention and ran on my knee, definitely could be better if my coaches had an open mind and didn’t force you to finish out practice so i ran some offense as it was sprained, so annoying
Awesome Content! Thank you so much
Wonderful work 😊👌🏻👌🏻👍🏻
Can this formula be used for MCL rehab also??

Hello, how I should progression in ball squeeze? 3 sets how many reps and how many seconds isometric?
It's been 6 months since I had my surgery, and I'm running quite well but after running my knee feels swollen and when I'm walking it sounds like( thak thak), is it normal?
